Time for Spooky Stories

Do you have a supernatural and spooky personal experience?

Ever experience a Twilight Zone moment, see a ghost, hear the voice from beyond the grave, or have a premonition or dream that came true?

I believe all of us have these strange stories...and it's time to share!

You can e-mail your experiences to SPOOKY STORIES SUBMISSION

(If you prefer, I can keep you anonymous)

Here are just a few of the more popular Spooky Stories from last year:

The Lemp Mansion - One of the most haunted places in the world

The Haunted Closet - An experience submitted by a fellow blogger

Ghost Baby - Another story from a blogger. I have witnessed first-hand a very strange occurance at this old house. Freaky stuff.

The Mothman - This whole saga deserves a Part 2 this year. The story is just so big. I've been to this part of West Virginia where The Mothman sightings took place, and to the inhabitants - The Mothman is quite real.

I will be posting these Spooky Stories once a week or so leading up to Halloween.

Thanks so much, and I look forward to your spooky submissions.

I don't really have any spooky stories personally, but I do have a friend who used to live down the street from the Franklin Castle. Whenever I'd go visit him I'd get rather unnerved going by this building.

My scariest story is from last week, when we all thought that the Phoenix had up and left us again.

Thankfully, it was only a scare.

Hey buddy, glad to see you back!!! I'll be submitting my story about how my grandmother placed a Christmas card in my sister's racket cover from the beyond. I think I told you that story when we met. I don't quite know if it qualifies as a ghoststory or even if it's scary enough for you to post. It doesn't have to be anonymous--I love attention.
And I also have a ghostly sighting to tell you about. However I don't know if it was a sighting or just mine and a classmates tired eyes.
Anyway, there you go mentioning the West Virginia--mothman again. Scary stuff!!!!
Sorry, I'm babbling, just glad to see that you aren't temporarily gone again.

I don't have any spooky stories myself...yet anyway.

I am glad I have my laptop now....so when you blog about the spooky stories, I can sit outside on the porch at night reading them on my laptop and maybe have the beejesus scared out of me.

Good scary stories always do that to me...;)

YAY! Phoenix is back...and soliciting ghost stories. Fun times ahead, I'm sure.

I may have my own to submit, but I've got to think about it....it's been a long time...

Um, does the ability to recount storylines from The X-Files or 'light as a feather, stiff as a board' pajama party stories count? ;)

Glad to see you're back, Phoenix.

None come to mind for me. I have pretty much been deprived of ghost/supernatural experiences.
My mom thinks she saw an angel once.
If I think of one, I will email it to you.

I look forward to reading the spoooky stuff.

I don't like spooky stories... I have to watch horror movies with a friend during the day and with a pillow in front of me for convenient hiding. No, I'm not 10.

Nice to see you back from vacation. I think last year I submitted my only spooky story but I will dig deep to see if I can think of another one. In any case, I look forward to this year's offering.
